Kasen's 1st Birthday

Happy Birthday Kasen! Kasen's 1st Birthday Party was a "BarnYard Bash" complete with a barn cake and farm animal cupcakes, (don't forget the farm animal cake pops too...they were a big hit!) We had so much fun at his party. Kasen got lots of great gifts too! We had barn yard themed food as well, including pig n the blankets, chicken wings, hay, chicken feed and veggies from Kasen's Garden! I will hopefully have his 1 year pictures ready shortly and will post them soon!

TOO CUTE! 6 Month pictures

Now that Kasen will be 7 months old tomorrow...here are a few of his 6 month pictures! We took them ourselves and I was very happy with the way they turned out! The last 7 months has gone WAY too fast, but we have enjoyed every minute of it! He started sitting up about 2 weeks ago and he loves being able to sit up and see what's going on! He LOVES eating baby food and is still taking great naps during the day! (about 2 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon on average, and sometimes we sneak in an evening nap yet!) He got 2 teeth on the bottom right after Christmas.

New Pictures

Here's some of what we've been up to lately...

Kasen was a Chili Pepper for Halloween....

rolled over 2 times in 1 day a month ago and hasn't done it since...

loves loves loves bath time in his little tub....

and got baptized at Victory Point Church on Nov 14th! He's growing up so fast!

4 months

Well, Kasen had his 4 month appointment on Friday. He weighs 14 lb 6 oz and is 25 inches long. He's in the 50th percentile for height,weight and head circumfrence. The Doctor said he was perfect! (but we already knew that!!) He had to get a few shots, he screamed - not cried- screamed pretty loud, but was fine as soon as I picked him up! These pictures were taken a while ago, but we just got them back a few weeks ago and I just thought they were SO cute. He was about 2 months old. I have to upload some more recent pictures, then I'll post some on here.

3 months

2 month stats

Last week Kasen had his 2 month dr appointment. He weighed in at 10 lbs 12 oz and was 22 1/2 inches long. He was 25th percentile for both height and weight, so a little below average, but still in the normal range. He's doing great! We both had a few tears with his shots he had to get, but got over it quickly! Kasen

Here are a few of Kasen's newborn pictures. These were taken when he was about 2 1/2 weeks old. Of course he's a little chubbier now at 7 1/2 weeks old, but still just as cute! So far he's been a really good baby! We've managed to get him on the "babywise" schedule just like his cousins Carter and Trey and he's been sleeping about 6-7 hour stretches at night the last couple weeks --most of the time =) (he's even had a few nights where he went 8 hours!!) The little green plaid outfit was his favorite and I LOVE the black and white picture above! We are enjoying EVERY mintue of our new little guy!

Kasen Michael

On Thursday July 15th at 6:49 am we welcomed Kasen Michael into our family. He weighed 7 lbs and was 20 inches long. So far things are going great and we LOVE him to pieces!

Welcom Baby Morley!

Here are a few pictures of the newest addition to the Haverdink family. Morley Joy born March 25th to my sister Sara and her husband Dirk. She's the cutest baby in the family...until July that is... then she'll have some compitition! =)

Mike and Kim are "Prego"

Well if you haven't heard yet...Mike and I are expecting our first baby on July 21st! This is how we told our parents at Christmas. Mike made labels for the spaghati sauce I canned this fall! I says "Mike and Kim are Prego, due July 21" We heard the heart beat today at 12 weeks. We're so excited!

Halloween

A little late, I know. Here are a few of the things I made for dinner when we had a few friends over in October, I decided to go with a Halloween theme. Everything turned out really good! We had witches, ghosts, a pumpkin cheese ball, leg bones, spiderweb dip and goulish fingers! Yum!

Summer Pictures

Since I've been such a slacker with updating our blog...here's a little bit of our summer. Mike had his Nascar experience, which he LOVED and is STILL talking about. We did a lot of canning with fresh vegies from our garden. We did spagetti sauce, pickles, salsa, tomatoes, pickled yellow peppers and jalapenos! And in September went to Traverse City and Mackinac Island for our anniversary. We definately kept busy this summer, hence the lack of postings! I'll try to do better!
